Happy 2013 to All of my beautiful Readers!!!

Hello to all my dear and Beautiful Readers and Followers!!! Happy 2013 to you all!!! I have missed my Blog and surfing around Blog land. Late last year my family had our own fair share of downs... and some ups .. but it was a hard time! We lost my beloved Grandmother , a lady who I have seen at least twice a week for 37 years.. I lived next door to her for 22 years seeing her everyday ! It is where I inheritated my love of Art and Craft and my passion for drawing and colouring ! My Grandma rocked my world and I'm with a heavy heart moving through each day!! But in saying that My Grandma was a very strong and tough lady , qualities I would like to hope I have flowing through my blood!! So onwards and Upwards 2013 is going to be a great year for my family !! Including my Grandpa who is now living alone after 70 years .... But he is blessed to have a AWESOME family around him!! xxxxxxx

Anyway enough of the chatter ... I have been colouring ,, and I cant stop so I wanted to show you what I have been up to . My creative brain was affected with some big changes last year with my personal life and seeing my resign from my position at Scrap 2 Relax. I am now excited about the future and what the future holds for me. I am still on the design team at www.hookedoncraft.com , I love being part of Karen from Hooked on Crafts wonderful team ! and I'm now wondering and thinking I might apply for some other positions if I see something that interests me ! 

Look below and see what I have been colouring , I love the beautiful images from Saturated Canary ... Krista Smith is a inspiring artist and I put effort and time into every image as I believe they are all each a piece of artwork!!! I love them~!!!

And below is nothing at all to do with my Craft .. But I had to share , people that are close to me and know me well know that Horses are a big part of my life !!! I have friends that train Harness Racing Horses , I help out at their stables every couple of days and I love the Animal so much!!! Last night my favourite boy Artique we call him " Bill" won his race!! I was lucky to be there and meet him when he came off the track with the driver !! I was so excited as Man oh Man!!!! I love this horse !!!! So I wanted to share!!!!!!!

Hooked on Craft "Challenge 26"......

 Hi Everyone!!! We are up to Challenge 26 at Hooked On Craft .. Christmas but in non Traditional Colours .... I chose this cute Digi Stamp from My Favourite Digi Shop in the word http://saturated-canary.myshopify.com/collections/all   Krista is so clever and I always feel so privileged to be able to colour the yummiest Images Ever .......

I then Created my card using a new Kaiser Christmas Range ,which worked really nicely with the Theme of No Red and Green... Though I had to squeeze a little in to the sweater because it was looking to Pretty!!! LOL as you can see the sentiment says a UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER!!! hehehe  I used my favourite Copics to colour the Image , even coloured using the Tip to Tip method on the sweater...

My embellishments are as always my Favourite Yummies in the Whole World!!! Hooked on Craft Challenge Number 25 " Halloween"

Hi Everyone, The year is going so fast we are up to Challenge No 25 at Hooked on Craft. our theme this month is "Halloween" ... I am getting more and more into Halloween every year as I find it now fun to decorate our house ! The Kids love it!!!! ...

Their Hair is amazing and I seem to never get bored with them!!! I love them to pieces ! I have coloured the image using my Copic's .. The Paper Used is a Kaiser Range given to me by a friend! Hooked on Craft " Challenge 24 Cards for Men "

Hi there!!! Its been a month since my last post and I was hoping to get back and show you what I have been up to in between as I have been playing with some gorgeous new goodies!!! Hopefully Ill be back sooner this month!!!

  We are up to Challenge 24 at Hooked on Craft this month " Cards for Men"!!! I always find cards for men harder than the girly cards!! I have used a Edwin Magnolia Stamp and I coloured him in my favourite colours at the moment with my Copics the Blue Greens and Cool Greys!! I love these together ! I used a Female Paper Range from Kaiser !! Not that you would know!!!!! Hooked on Craft Challenge 22

Hi there!!!! Wow Time goes so fast .. Half the year is over and we are heading towards Christmas at great speed!!To continue with this theme .. We are celebrating " Christmas in July" at Hooked on Craft! .. I created this bright Christmas Card using Silver Glitter Cardstock .. The Stamp is one of the Gorjuss Girl Stamps ... I just love playing with these sweet little ladies!! They have fun hair and Clothes to Colour with my Copic Markers .. Hooked on Craft Challenge 21

Hi there! Welcome to Hooked on Craft Challenge 21 "All that Glitters"

I have used one of my favourite Magnolia Stamps for this which I have coloured using my favourite weapons " My Copic Markers"

How cute is she ?I enjoyed playing with the darker skin tones and the purples ... My all that glitters came together using Glitter Cardstock and Kaiser Flourishes . I finished off adding the gorgeous flowers from Hooked on Craft ... Pop over to  and pick yourself up some of these yummies...

Above is a close up of my gorgeous little fairy .. I also painted the wings with Stickles to add that extra bling together with my Spica Pen she really Twinkles..

Hooked on Craft Challenge 20

Hi there Everyone!! We are up to Challenge 20 at Hooked on Craft!!! This month our theme is "Flowers"..
Now let me tell you this is endless at Hooked on Craft!!! The Flowers were the first product that caught my eye at Karen's beautiful Hooked on Craft ... So I decided as it was the roses I first fell in love with, I would create my card around them for this challenge ... you can see them close up below

Hooked on Craft ... Challenge 19

Hi there Everyone!! I was going to try and update my blog in between the Hooked on Craft Challenges .. but somehow time has gone so fast!!! This months theme is Easter... which falls at the end of the week!!! I have created a Card and a Easter Egg Holder......

The Card I have used a Magnolia Image .. which I have coloured with my Copic Markers... I used the Warm Greys and a touch of Apricot .... I have used the beautiful Hooked on Craft flowers .. which I have Glimmer Misted then add a little ink and Copper Stickels to get the shade I was after to match my colour scheme. I have also used a Hooked on Craft Doily and gorgeous Charm... always my fav!! I added a little more bling to the Charm using the Copper Stickles , just to compliment my colours I am using! all of the above products I have mentioned are available at http://www.hookedoncraft.com/ so head over and check out the beautiful embellishments... and stamps .. hahah the list goes on and on!!!

Here is a close up for you to look at the layout of my flowers ... and Charm.. I am enjoying using feathers at the moment on my work .. I start with white boring coloured feathers ... glimmers mist .. stickels and they add a lovely addition to your projects...

I have also included a close up of the egg holder.... I love this idea... I saw this in the Magnolia Magazine ... Tweeked it a little... as I do everything... nothing I work on ends up how I think it will at the beginning ! The flowers here have been Glimmer Misted , and Inked and finally Stickled again!! adding a feather also I think ties everything in with my card~!

Hooked on craft ...Challenge 18 ...

Hi there!!! I am so excited to be making a post on my blog for the first Challenge that I have been involved in as a design team member for http://hookedoncraftchallenges.blogspot.com.au/ We are up to Challenge 18 and it is " More Than one Fold" .. I have designed a Gate Fold Card using my Beautiful Oriental Tilda as my centre piece.. The Image was coloured using my beloved Copic Markers and embellished with another of my favourite weapons Liquid Pearls.. I used the New BoBunny Paper Pad " Serenity" Collection... I embellished my card with White leaves which I Glimmer Misted.. and White Roses which I Inked.. the Trinket Pin is a favourite!!! Happy Birthday to my Dear Mum!!!

Happy Birthday to my Dear Mum who celebrated her 60th Birthday Yesterday....I made this Kaiser Frame for Mum !!! I dug up some of her photo's from when she was a little girl... added some embellishments ... I am very Happy with the outcome....

Handmade presents are the best aren't they ?? I really do try to make or at least make part of a present that I give members of my family.... Even if it is just the card!!! I cant bring myself to buy a card .... When I know now all members of my family and friends all wait to see what they get each birthday or special occasion.....

A little HOOKED on CRAFT....

So it all starts with a image .... Sweet Tilda coloured using my beloved Copic Markers.............

Okay...My favourite Flower and Embellishment Company in the whole wide world has posted they are looking for more design team members ... so nervously I have created this card using their flowers and gems....My goodness I love their products so much .. you can do so many things and have so many looks and themes just by adding colour!! Everyone that comes into Scrap 2 Relax I'm sure has heard the story of me turning red and rashy at seeing Karen's treasures from Hooked on Craft at the Burwood Picture to Page Show.... then pleading with Karen .. " Can we please get these treasures in"??? Well My dream and wish was granted ... and now, I know we have some of our customers as addicted as me!!! So above is my entry or my application into joining the wonderful people at Hooked on Craft www.hookedoncraft.com as being a member of their design team......

I really enjoyed using the red and white colours... I have been colouring with these with a few images .. Its classic.. What do you think ??? Yeah Im back to the land of Copic Markers!!!

We had two very special Birthday Celebrations on the weekend... The first was one of Regan's very Best Friends from Kinder! It was a party in the park .. complete with pinata full of lollies which apparently Regan was very good at!!!! Doesn't surprise me ... if lollies are involved that boy will do anything .... !!! hahahaha I decided to colour the LaLa Image of Cowboy Luca.... I was very pleased with the results . I tried a new combination of reds ... which I was extremely happy with ... What do you think ????

The second party that we attended was our gorgeous friend Alisha who had a 21st "Mad Hatters" tea party yesterday under the big gum tree at her parents property... Gee it was fantastic a wonderful setting .... a clever idea complete with decorations and costumes!!! This is the card that I came up for Lishy..... I thought it fitted into the theme quite well and included a lovely little charm from one of my favourite suppliers " Hooked on Craft" they have beautiful embellishments that are available through Scrap 2 Relax....

I even painted with Perfect Pearls over the bodice of her dress and it was glimmering in the sunshine when I gave it to our special girl!!!!

This is the last week of holidays for my cupids!! My little man becomes a big prep boy this year... so this week I am going to try and set aside some play time to colour abit more and maybe do a couple of scrap pages!!!! Holidays and My Family!!!!

Happy New Year to all my lovely readers!!!! That's if I have any left!!!! I have been so slack!!! not really slack just a little challenged for time.... but i promise you this year I will be much better... Last year went so quick ..so I thought I would start off by dropping by and wishing you all the very best and leave a quick post to make sure everything is still working here!! LOL ..... it seems great and I am able to now use my laptop to write posts as I was having trouble saving photo's on it!!! All organised now!!!!! Ill be back tomorrow .. I promise with a show and tell!!!!!!!!....... I should tell you .. It was Georgia's 11Th birthday yesterday and all she wanted was a fishing rod..... so we spent the day fishing .... was awesome ..though we didn't catch anything!!!! Still had fun in the sun with our loved ones!!! til tomorrow..... Michelle :)

Hello there!!!

Hi There.... I am so sorry I haven't popped by in a little while to show you what I have been working on ... I have been doing bits and pieces... But I have been crazy busy with a new journey I am taking myself on... I have decided I want to get fit and be more active!!! Its also about taking my life back and taking control of it..... So far I am doing very well in just 5 weeks I have lost 13.5kg... Woohooo!!!! I am Training very hard with my personal trainer and eating more than I have in a long time..... I am learning heaps about nutrition ... and my whole family has had a major overhaul in their food sources... Mind you We never ate junk food .... just eating at the wrong times and eating too much is where I ran into trouble...... So watch this space............ A WHOLE new me is on its way.... And I promise I will be back in a few short days to show you some paper crafty yummies I am working on!!! Til then I hope you are staying warm... Love Michellexxx
